WASHINGTON, Mo. — Grades are in, and Mercy Hospital Washington has once again been recognized as a Straight A hospital for quality by The Leapfrog Group. This marks the hospital’s fifth consecutive A grade, placing it among an elite group—only 10 hospitals in Missouri achieved an A rating this cycle.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is a national, independent rating system that evaluates hospitals on their performance in preventing medical errors, infections, and other harms to patients.

“We know quality care takes teamwork. Earning a Leapfrog A grade showcases our amazing caregivers and maintaining that quality is an even greater feat,” said Marie Moore, president of Mercy Washington Communities. “We hope these grades help reinforce the community’s trust in the care we provide.”

Mercy Hospital Washington remains committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care and continually improving safety and outcomes for the region.
